Bakewell brings more than 20 years’ experience in the point-of-purchase and graphics presentation industries to this newly created position. Prior to joining DSA/Phototech, he spent 10 years with MDI (Marketing Displays International) in a variety of roles including regional sales manager, product line manager and business development. Bakewell is a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Carson, Calif., November 2005 – DSA/Phototech Inc. has introduced a line of illuminated radiused blade kiosks for indoor or outdoor advertising and directory applications. Special features of the curved kiosk line include all-aluminum construction for durability and weather resistance, the ability to produce tight radiuses, and the capability to provide rapid turnaround on customized as well as standard orders.
Radiused kiosks come in several standard graphic sizes ranging from 40” x 50” up to 72” x 144”. A pre-formed acrylic face combines safety with cost-effectiveness, and central lamping offers even illumination and ease of service. The system accommodates multiple graphic support options and is designed for easy 90-second graphic changeout.
The new radiused kiosks come in a variety of powder coat color finishes. Custom sizes, finishes and header and base configurations are available for maximum design versatility. Carson, Calif., September 2005 -- DSA/Phototech Inc. has introduced the “ThinSlide 2.5” slide access illuminated display that combines a narrow profile with economy and ease of access. At only 2.5” deep, the display is well within ADA guidelines, which require 4” maximum depth in public areas. It provides a sleek and affordable display solution for small to very large graphics in stores, transportation centers and other public venues.
The ThinSlide 2.5 lightbox achieves bright, even illumination using standard fluorescent lighting. It comes in six sizes from 40” x 50” up to 72” x 144” and will accommodate all materials designed for backlit or edgelit applications. Using a Phillips-head or optional security screwdriver, the user can quickly remove any or all sides of the display, which slide easily out of place to allow fast changeout of graphics.
Manufactured of extruded aluminum, The ThinSlide 2.5 display is light yet durable and dissipates heat effectively. Zelm attended Fullerton College (Fullerton, California) and graduated from the UCLA Executive Management program.

Riley brings more than 25 years’ related experience to his new post. Prior to joining DSA/Phototech, he spent nearly 10 years with Hamilton Fixture in Cincinnati, Ohio and Ontario, California, in a variety of positions including president and chief operating officer, senior vice president and general manager for this leading manufacturer of store fixtures. He is also a former vice president of operations for Westmark Products (Tacoma, Washington) and for Lunstead (Kent, Washington), which was acquired by Haworth during Riley’s employment.
Riley has been an active member of the National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers (Hollywood, Florida) since 1997, serving as chairman of the general management committee since 1999 and as a Board director from 2000 - 2004. He holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Washington.

Carson, Calif., April 2004 - DSA/Phototech Inc. has introduced the "Edgelit Lightframe", an economical new display that combines an ultra-thin (1-3/4" deep) profile with reliability and ease of use. An exclusive light-diffusing panel allows the unit to function with fewer lamps while still creating a crisp, radiant presentation. It is suitable for all types of interior applications where a thin-profile illuminated display is desired.
Edgelit displays have grown increasingly popular because they provide a wall-hugging, "picture frame" look coupled with bright graphic illumination. Compared to conventional backlit displays, DSA/Phototech’s Edgelit Lightframe is thinner, uses fewer components, and is significantly lower in cost. The replaceable fluorescent lamps deliver 20,000 hours or more of reliable lighting performance. Carson, Calif., January 2007 - "SS Series" single-sided illuminated displays from DSA/Phototech, Inc. combine a slim face frame with excellent, even illumination. Designed for cost-effective performance using readily available T8 or T12 fluorescent bulbs, they are ideal for large format applications.
